Last Days of Fall As We Know It.

I am afraid that our last days of fall will be coming to a close ever to quickly.  We had our first bit of snrizzle today.... That is a mix of rain and snow..... UGH!  Although the kids are happy and can't wait  to get the snowboards out.....

Also, I sold my Dining Room Table and Chairs on Craigslist last night, which will push me to complete my next project the "new" Dining Room Table --- Oh how I wish my wall was gone....

Garrett was so sad when I told him I sold the set, he said "Mom, we have so many happy memories here at this table"  -- Then I was kinda of sad.  But we will make new ones....

I am loving the French Flea Market - Will See, what happens.

Craigslist Makeover

I listed my brown furniture I hated on Craiglist - I sold it the same day -- LOL

I also found my new (used) furniture there too -- I love it!! I can actually sit on the sofa and my feet touch the floor.  The best part is the Cost for this make over $0.00 ..  I then added the white wood blinds to my windows, I am loving it.

They are like a tweed - The lady had bought them at a high end Furniture Store.

they can be pushed together or separated, and they came with a matching ottoman which I put in the middel between them.   Now I am making some Burlap pillows with Iron on Transfers in the French Motif's.

Oh Yea, and our newest addition to the family -- Tarzan!!!! - Believe the name fits..

Chloe hasn't been all that happy with sharing the attention, but she is starting to come around.

 

I actually sewed!!!! LOL

Well I did a few stitches with a needle, if that counts.   I wanted a french pillow, so I used what I had and sewed mine up from the dish towel, I had just gotten, and added a few ribbon roses.

Flea Market Find

My latest flea market find,  I got my husband to go with me the other day, and I found this cute little end table for only  $15.00  

I finally added my pearls to my headboard, I think they are a little larger than I should have done, but I am liking them, then I finished off my stool to match me new zebra mathing lamps on both sides.

My Bathroom makeover cabinet

I have been soooo busy working on finishing the basement.  I still think I have  a ton to do, but I will post some of my photos of what I have been working on.  This is the downstairs bathroom.   I was going for a French Country Paris kinda of theme.  I think I am liking it.  I love the sink,  and the color scheme I think is coming around.  

The walls in the family room, we kind of did a like plaster - stucco -- It is very different but I think I will like it when I get it all done. 

Then I painted my bathroom, --- Now it is MINE ----and I don't really have to share it with the Boys!!

I love love love the paint color... 

I tried using some decals I found at Hobby Lobby, I loved them -- but I couldn't get them to stick on my walls, especially in the bathroom.  Too much moisture, so I did remove them. 

Loved --- these curtains!!!! and especially the price, I got them on clearance at Target for only $14.00.   I went there to get the Shabby Chic White Shower Curtain, and found these Shabby  Chic curtains on clearance.   I love it when the Lord let's me find great buys!!!!!!

Okay, I know some of you are going to think I have totally lost it........  Don't know what is a matter with me picking these colors.... it is so not me, but oh well, I had to work with those brown sofas!!!!! and now I am kinda liking it.  I still want my hubby to bring in my piano (welllllll ) my piece of furniture from the garage.  Will see, I am working on him. 

 

I am still working on some ideas ---- I think it is never ending!!!!  The sun is finally shining and I think spring is really here, This Week.   Have a Blessed Day!!
